KP ("we", "our", or "us") provides a personal expense tracking and productivity application designed to help users manage and categorize their expenses using artificial intelligence.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use the KP mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

a) Account Information

  • Email address (used for authentication and account management)

b) User-Generated Content

  • Text descriptions of expenses entered by the user
  • Voice recordings used to input expenses
  • Categorized expense data stored within the app

c) Device & Usage Information

  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • App usage activity
  • Crash reports
  • Diagnostic data

d) Advertising Identifiers

  • Advertising ID (if ads are enabled)
  • Device identifiers related to advertising services

We do not collect bank account credentials, credit card numbers, or direct access to financial institution accounts.

2. Voice and Text Processing

KP allows users to enter expenses through:

  • Text input
  • Voice input

Voice Processing:

Voice input may be temporarily processed by third-party AI services (such as Google Gemini) to convert speech into text. Audio recordings are processed solely for transcription purposes and are not permanently stored unless explicitly saved by the user within the application.

Text Processing:

Text input may be processed by AI services (such as Groq) to categorize and structure expense data. We do not use user data to train proprietary AI models. Third-party AI providers process data according to their respective privacy policies.

3. Artificial Intelligence Services

KP uses artificial intelligence to:

  • Convert speech to text
  • Categorize expenses
  • Improve categorization accuracy
  • Enhance user experience

AI processing is limited to functional purposes necessary to provide the app's services.

4. Advertising and Rewarded Ads

KP uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Some features within KP operate under a usage-based system (KP Coins). By default, users receive a limited number of daily actions. Users may voluntarily watch a rewarded advertisement to unlock additional usage within the app.

AdMob may collect:

  • Advertising ID
  • Device identifiers
  • App interaction data
  • Usage data

Advertising data may be used for personalized or non-personalized ads depending on user device settings and regional regulations. Watching rewarded ads is optional. Users may choose whether to view advertisements to unlock additional functionality. We do not sell personal data.

5. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain app functionality
  • Process expense inputs (voice and text)
  • Categorize financial data
  • Improve performance and user experience
  • Display advertisements
  • Prevent fraud and abuse
  • Diagnose technical issues

6. Data Sharing

We may share information with:

  • Cloud hosting providers
  • AI service providers (e.g., Gemini, Groq)
  • Advertising providers (e.g., AdMob)

Data is shared only as necessary to operate the service. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

KP is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user information. However, no digital transmission or storage system is completely secure.

10. International Data Processing

By using KP, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.

11. Future Premium Features

KP may introduce premium subscription features in the future. Payments will be processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription management, billing, and refunds are handled by the respective app store platforms.

12. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion
  • Withdraw consent where applicable
